Chris DeFilippis began his career with horses in North Salem, NY, where he studied horsemanship with Phil Ake, former Olympian in show jumping and internationally renowned instructor. He lives and works in Bedford, NY, as proprietor of Parsons Field Farm. He cares for and trains jumping, western pleasure, and gaited horses, among other disciplines, and has worked closely with Richard Gere, Ali McGraw, and Patrick Borgen, Chief of Breast Cancer Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and their horses.
